FPL GW 21 Wildcard Team

Optimal FPL GW 21 Wildcard Team

Goalkeepers

Our number one for the optimal FPL Gameweek 20 Wildcard Team is A.Becker (5.4). Liverpool are the second best Defence after Arsenal with an incredible run of fixtures going forward. Expect plenty of clean sheets.

Check out the current state of fixtures using our Fixture Ticker - the teams difficulties are updated every day and give you a much clearer picture of the teams offensive and defensive strength than the official FDR (choose xG based FDR to enable!).

Becker’s backup will be Valdimarsson (3.9), because of the price.

Defenders

The first pick in our backline is Robinson (5.0) of Fulham. They are playing an incredible season and have very good fixtures coming up, and Robinson provides a decent amount of attacking threat. If short on cash, Castagne (4.2) is now a starting player for them too.

Gabriel (6.4) is the essential Arsenal centre-back. He loves scoring headers, which makes up for the middling fixtures Arsenal have coming up.

From Liverpool we have to feature Alexander-Arnold (7.2). After just scoring a 15 pointer against West Ham there is no excuse for not having him in your team!

Completing our starting backline is Munoz (4.7). Crystal Palace have been much improved and his attacking numbers are crazy! With their excellent upcoming matchups he is a very good pick indeed.

On the bench we have Greaves (3.9) who appears to just have returned to the starting lineup, which is more than can be expected for his price point!

Midfielders

The big-hitters here need no introduction - Salah (13.6) and Palmer (11.4) are the two top scoring assets IN THE GAME. Get them.

Gordon (7.4) comes into the team from Newcastle. Playing against Wolverhampton at home in Gameweek 21 (which is one of the best fixtures you can have) and Southampton in 23 this is a great time to get in on their attack.

I.Sarr (5.9) has been in fantastic form recently. Scoring plenty of goals (and FPL points) with superb upcoming fixtures he is an absolute steal at 5.9!

Dibling (4.5) has just scored against Crystal Palace and is starting as a striker, excellent value at 4.5!

Forwards

Leading our front three is Isak (9.2). He’s actually outscored Haaland already, at 5.6 million less in price! He will do serious damage in Newcastle’s upcoming fixtures and you do not want to miss out on his points.

G.Jesus (6.9) seems to have found his scoring form once again! Starting off with an excellent fixture against a defensively extremely poor Tottenham, I think that he will keep bringing the points. A main beneficiary of Saka’s injury (get well soon!).

Wood (6.7) is on the bench for the Liverpool match - but definitely more than a starting option in the following Gameweeks. His finishing has been outstanding, he’s on penalties and the focal point of Nottinghams attacking efforts!

Conclusion

This team will have you set up extremely well for the near future!
