FPL GW 24 Wildcard Team

Introduction
Let’s get straight into the optimal Wildcard team for Gameweek 24!

The teams difficulties are updated every day and give you a much clearer picture of the teams offensive and defensive strength than the official FDR (choose xG based FDR to enable!).
Goalkeepers
Unsurprisingly our Number 1 will be A. Becker (5.5). With Liverpool having the best defensive run of fixtures coming up and that juicy double he is a no-brainer.
On the bench we have Valdimarsson (3.9), but someone like a Fabianksi might also be a good choice should you have cash to spare.
Defenders
The defense is marked by double players.
Leading the line is Alexander-Arnold (7.3). With Liverpool being an elite defense, their fixtures and his attacking threat, he is an essential pick.
Second up is Mykolenko (4.3) who provides exceptional value for his price. He is very likely to start both games in the double and has been playing in a more advanced role as of late. After Everton’s double their fixtures are still decent, but he’ll probably be our bench option going forward.
Munoz (4.8) has been putting out incredible attacking numbers! They haven’t yet converted to actual returns, but I’m certain they will come.
On the bench for the City match only are J.Timber (5.6) and Gabriel (6.2). Following their tough GW24 fixture is a much more forgiving series of matchups. They still are the Number one Defense in the game, points will come.
Midfielders
The King of FPL, M.Salah (13.7) will of course be leading the line, probably one of the best opportunities to play your Triple Captain Chip if you still have it!
Palmer (11.4) is still an excellent option, with good fixtures (and an excellent one against West Ham in 24!) to come.
Mbeumo (7.8) has been getting back into form lately! Playing Tottenham, West Ham and Leicester in their next three will provide plenty of opportunities for him to haul.
Of Aston Villa we have Rogers (5.5) coming into the team. He’s been fantastic for owners and his attacking numbers are decent for the price.
Our last midfielder is Dibling (4.5) he should be back fit by the time they visit Ipswich, and he’s got the most attacking threat of the other 4.5 options.
Forwards
Now this is where it gets spicy …
You did see right - that’s Calvert-Lewin (5.4) in our lineup 😂 He seems to be doing well under the new manager, and he scored just in time to make himself an FPL option again for the double. Should he stop massively underperforming his xG there is definite haul potential!
Completing our lineup are Isak (9.5) (who’s been absolutely on fire and is ESSENTIAL for you team) and Wissa (6.2), who’s got absolutely superb attacking threat way beyond his price point this season.
Conclusion
And that’s it for this week!
