FPL GW 26 Wildcard Team

Fixtures Report
Let’s start our presentation of the optimal GW 26 Wildcard Team by checking out the current state of fixtures.
Right now the focus is of course on blank GW 29. We want to be well-prepared and not have to play the Free Hit for a decent team.
Attacking Fixtures
These are the top ten best fixture runs for attackers:
The easiest fixtures this week fall to Wolverhampton, Chelsea and Bournemouth. Bournemouth is especially interesting as they’ve been performing strongly and have a nailed front three in their attack.
Chelsea is definitely one to look out for too - now that Nicolas Jackson is out injured, there’s a chance of Nkunku getting to play the number 9, which would make him an absolute steal at 5.7 right now!
Defensive Fixtures
And here’s the top ten best fixture runs for defenders:
Screenshots have been taken from our Fixture Ticker.
Goalkeepers
Our number for this week is Raya (5.5). While Arsenal’s attack has been decimated by injuries, their defense is still elite level with one of the best fixture runs going forward, as well as a fixture in GW 29.
On the bench we have Areola (4.2) who is now starting for West Ham and has a nice fixture against Everton away.
Defenders
And we are tripling up on Arsenal defense this week! Joining Raya are Gabriel (6.2) and Timber (5.6), facing a disappointing West Ham side in GW 26.
Kerkez (5.9) of Bournemouth also comes into the starting lineup. He’s been strong going forward, and their fixtures are looking excellent.
Serving as backups on the bench are Ait-Nouri (4.7) of Wolverhampton and Greaves (3.9) of Ipswich. Both are nailed for their teams, and Ait-Nouri has put up very serviceable attacking numbers all season.
Midfielders
On to the midfield!
Completing the Bournemouth triple-up are Semenyo (5.7) and Kluivert (5.9). Bournemouth have been tremendous in attack, both players play 90 most matches, and Kluivert is number one for penalties while Semenyo is number two!
As far as big hitters are concerned, Palmer (11.2) and Salah (13.7) still reign supreme. A big congratulations to all who Triple Captained him in GW 25, very jealous!
Ready to go in case of emergency is Amad (5.6) of Manchester United. He also as a juicy fixture against Leicester away in GW 29 where he will come into the team for Salah.
Forwards
The first of our forwards this week is Wissa (6.3) of Brentford with a prime fixture against Leicester away. He’s been extremely dangerous and is nailed in Brentford’s attack.
Isak (9.5) remains a very strong option up front. Nailed and on penalties he’s worth benching for GW 29.
And maybe surprising to some Cunha (6.8) comes back into the team! He’s Wolverhampton’s attacking talisman, and with their fantastic run of fixtures he should give you plenty of points going forwards.
Conclusion
And that’s it for this week!
